Workshop Description

These workshops aim to help create awareness within the body using the movement vocabulary of the GYROKINESIS® Method. The GYROKINESIS® class takes place seated, on the floor and standing in order to apply the concepts in different relationships to gravity. The class aims to nurture the skill of sensing and listening to your body through imagery and body mapping while learning basic anatomy and biomechanics.

This class is also a form of injury prevention. Knowing your body offers freedom and ease of movement. It creates deep strength and internal connections producing an optimal environment for artistic expression.

Learn how to use your body to work with you rather than against you.

How to work smarter, not harder.

Testimonial

“There is no better feeling than standing at barre or center, moving through composed phrases, and realizing that my body is as engaged as it can be while still feeling a sense of thoughtful weightless movement that I was in search of before. I know this experience is greatly influenced by my years of training in the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®.”
